NS - Itachi x Reader - Saving Me

You awoke tied to a chair in a room with little light ... you were covered in bruises and your body ached. Your vision was blurred and you were tired ... even though you had just regained consciousness. You were a Leaf Village ninja and you were confused as to why you were captured. The last thing you remembered was being sent on a mission by the Hokage to investigate a rumour
"Ah, at last ..." said a soft voice
You looked up as a familiar face emerged from the shadows
"Y-you're Orochimaru!" You breathed
You had heard of him on several occasions from your fellow Leaf shinobi, but you had never actually met him in person. From what you heard, he was supposed to be roughly the same age as Master Jiraiya ... but Orochimaru looked way too young ... of course, you heard rumours that he had found a way to become immortal ...
He's even more of a creepy bastard than I imagined You thought, determined to remain calm
"Hello, my dear ... shall we begin the experiment, hmm?" He said with a creepy smile
E-experiment? What is he going to do to me? You thought, panicking
"Wh-what experiment?" You asked, nervous
"I'm going to inject some cells into your body and see what happens" He replied, getting a little too close for comfort
"Why did you wait until I was awake?" You asked, frightened
"Because I like to watch people squirm as I inject them" He hissed, licking your cheek
You were repulsed not only by his behaviour, but his sadistic tendencies ... suddenly, he forced a syringe into your arm and you screamed. The pain was excruciating as he injected you with ... god only knows what. There was an explosion outside and  Orochimaru removed the needle with a horrible grin
"Looks like I'll have to observe later, hmm? Seems like we have company" He said, leaving the room
You sat there for a while and you noticed your bonds had been cut. Before you could speak, someone covered your mouth with their hand
"I thought he'd never leave ... quick ... we have to get out!" they whispered
You tried to get up, but your wounded legs failed you. Someone picked you up as if you were a bride being carried. You looked up at them as they began to make their way out of the building. Their face was being covered by a mask ... and you knew that ponytail anywhere. It was Itachi, a very good friend of yours, with whom you had a crush on. You felt dizzy ... and you were blushing. You closed your eyes, barely able to stay awake ...

You awoke in hospital a week later to discover that Itachi was fast asleep in the chair next to your bed and he was still in his ANBU black ops uniform, only his mask was sitting on the bedside table next to a vase filled with your favourite flower. His head was resting on your chest, which made you blush. You noticed where Orochimaru had injected you had been bandaged up and you felt like you were in a lot of pain. You sighed and you wanted to touch Itachi's hair ... but your arms wouldn't let you
Oh ... Itachi ... I so want to see what you look like with your hair down ... You thought, smiling shyly
Suddenly, the doors to your hospital room burst open. A little boy came running up to Itachi and started shaking him
"Itachi, Itachi! Wake up! You promised to play with me!" He cried
Itachi groaned and sat up. He looked at the little boy poked him on the forehead
"Not now, Sasuke ... I have to look after (Name)" Itachi said
"But she's awake! Can't you play now, pretty please?" little Sasuke asked
Itachi gasped and looked at you. You smiled
"You have the cutest little brother!" You said, laughing
"I'm not cute! Someday, I'm gonna be the bestest Uchiha that ever was!" Sasuke said, smiling
You and Itachi laughed quietly
"I'm sure you will" You said, smiling
"Are you alright, (Name)?" Itachi asked
"I feel a little ... sore, but I'll be alright" You replied
He let out a sigh of relief
"That's good ..." He said "I thought I lost you"
You blushed. You had no idea he was that concerned about you
"How did you find me?" You asked
"I was asked to act as back up ... so I pursued you ..." He replied
You noticed his cheeks turn pink
"I'm glad you're not hurt ... apparently that stuff he injected you with was harmless" He said
"That's good" You sighed
After a few hours, Itachi left the hospital room with Sasuke
"Itachi's got a girlfriend! Itachi's got a girlfriend!" He teased, dancing in circles around Itachi as he walked
"I do not, Sasuke. What would a pretty girl like her see in me?" He asked
"You're the bestest brother in the whole world!" Sasuke said
Itachi chuckled
"Why do I get the feeling you'll be the death of me?" He said, smiling
Sasuke laughed and they walked out of the hospital, hand in hand
