America x Reader - Poison Apple Part 5

It was early spring and Alfred had searched far and wide for months and still couldn't find you. Then, he heard rumours about a girl in the forest, who was in a glass coffin ... because seven Chibis didn't have the heart to bury her. He thought he should investigate, with the small flicker of hope that it could be you ... and he ignored the part of the rumour saying you were dead. He didn't want to believe that someone he cared for died and he wasn't there to protect them ...
"I have to see for myself" He mumbled quietly
He mounted his palomino horse and rode into the woods cautiously, as she was easily spooked
"Be brave, Bubble-Rap ... we're the heroes!" He said, patting the horse on the neck
Eventually, he came to a clearing, where there appeared to be a glass coffin, like the rumour. The top was open, which was bizarre. He dismounted and approached the coffin. There were seven little Chibis sitting around it, crying
"What happened, here?" He asked
"Poor (Name) ..." One of them sobbed
"The horrid Queen tricked her into eating a poisoned apple" Another said
"N-no ... it can't be!" Alfred said, upset
He got a closer look and fell to his knees in shock. You were lying there, just as beautiful as the day he met you ... completely unspoiled. He began to cry
"I ... I didn't even got to tell her I love her" He said, getting up
He took her hand in his and kissed it
"(Name) ... I ... I'm sorry" He breathed
Completely unaware that the Chibis were staring at him, he planted a kiss on your lips
"I love you" He breathed, kneeling down
He bowed his head in silent prayer and let go of your hand. Suddenly, he heard a sound. He looked up. You were moving. He stared open mouthed as you sat up and opened your eyes, stretching your arms
"(Name)!" He breathed, smiling
He began to cry tears of joy as you looked at him with a smile
"Oh, Alfred! I knew you'd come for me!" You said, smiling
He picked you up bridal style and you wrapped your arms around his neck as you shared a kiss. The Chibis cheered

And so, you bid farewell to the little Chibis and vowed to visit often as Alfred took you away to his castle astride his horse Bubble-Rap ... and you lived Happily Ever After ...
