Lovino ducked as Monica attempted to strike him with her colossal dragon claws. He tried to strike back as the Trio cheered him on
"Lovi, Lovi! He's Our Man! If He Can't Do It, No One Can! Hooray!" They cheered
"Little more help!" He grunted as he used his shield to deflect the flames
"Oh, sorry!" Julchen said, laughing
"We'll get right on it!" Marianne said, smiling
"Si!"
"Just ... hep me out!" He said, falling over in an attempt to back away
He tried to defend himself but Monica swiped the shield away, making him defenceless
"Oh ... I'm going to enjoy this, Lovino ..." She hissed
He cowered in fear
"(Name) ... I'm sorry" He breathed, shedding a tear
He braced himself for the strike and he heard a scream. He looked up and saw Julchen, sword in hand ... which was lodged in a human Monica's chest
"How ... dare you ..." She growled
She fell to the floor and turned to dust as Marianne helped Lovino up
"Come on! We have to wake (Name)!" Antonia said
"Take me to her" He said
His heart began to race as Julchen cut a path so they could get to the castle. Once inside, they began to run
"Come on, Lovino!" Julchen said, laughing
"Wait for me!" He called, desperately trying to keep up
He fell to his knees, in agony. He looked at his side
"Crap ... sh-she got me ..." He grumbled
"Hey, come on!" Marianne giggled
"S-si ... u-uno momento ..." He said, getting to his feet
He hurried after them, in a great amount of pain
C-crap ... I'm not gonna ...
He came to a flight of stairs and groaned as he climbed them
"Hurry up, slowpoke!" Antonia called
He reached a room where he found you lying and collapsed
"Crap, he's bleeding!" Marianne said
"D-deal with it later!" Lovino groaned as he tried to get up
He fell to the floor again and Marianne helped him up
"Julchen, quickly, heal him! You're gifted with healing" Antonia said
"J-ja, I'll get to it!" Julchen said
She sighed and began to sing "Silent Night" in German as Marianne helped him over to your bedside. He looked at you and smiled as he remembered how he met you. Marianne let go and he fell on the bed
"Bastard!" He shouted, clutching at his injured side
His vision began to blur as he crawled over to you
"(N-name) ... Ti amo ..." He breathed as he planted a kiss on your cold, blue lips

You opened your eyes and saw the man you met in the woods lying next to you
"Oh, I knew you'd come for me!" You breathed, sitting up
You noticed he wasn't moving. You shook him gently. He groaned and sat up
"Ciao. My name is Lovino" He said, smiling
You hugged him tightly
"Oh ... Lovino ..." You sighed
"He's the guy you're betrothed to, ma chere!" Marianne said, smiling
"H-he is?" You said, looking at him
He gave you a crooked smile and you kissed him
"I don't think I've ever seen her so happy!" Julchen said, shedding a tear

And so ... the Prince and Princess were married ... and they lived Happily Ever After ...
