Request - Russia x Reader : Russia's Garden

"___________! Come quick! Come quick!"
You followed the sound of Ivan's voice, which led you to his so-called garden. The problem was that not a thing grew there … it was just a blanket of snow, and not much else. You had no idea what he was so excited about. Then again, he rarely sounded that happy, so it warmed your heart to think that he had finally found something to be that happy about. You found him crouched down, right in the middle of his garden. You wondered over and he looked up at you with his big lilac eyes.  His skin had gone deathly pale from the cold, but he still looked as gorgeous as ever. You had never told anyone about the huge crush you had on Ivan, purely because you thought people would judge you or try to warn you off … that, and his little sister would probably kill you if she found out
"What's the matter, Ivan?" You asked, smiling
"Look!" He said
You moved so you could see what he was looking at. You gasped. In the ground was a tiny green sprout. You smiled and bent down to get a better look at this small plant
"It's a baby tree!" He said
You looked at him. It wasn't the usual sweet smile you were familiar with. It was a warm, genuine smile … filled with emotion and true happiness
"Look! It's so tiny!" He said, poking the sprout
"Don't keep doing that … or it won't grow" You said
He looked at you with a worried expression and back to the plant again
"It will need water, but not too much … ok?" You said, smiling
He nodded frantically
"Could … you help me look after the little plant?" He asked, smiling
"Of course" You replied
He looked touched that you agreed to help him keep the plant alive

"I think I will give it a name, da?" He said
You couldn't help but laugh. He was so adorable at times … you genuinely couldn't see why people were so afraid of such a gentle soul. He stood up and looked upon the little sprout proudly
"It's so tiny … like Mr Latvia!" He said, smiling
You couldn't help but laugh. He was so silly at times, but it was cute too
"I shall call it Mr Latvia!" He said
"I'm sure Latvia would be touched to hear you named your plant after him" You said, smiling
He turned to face you
"I wanted you to be the first to see it" He said
You were surprised to see a light blush on his cheeks. You found it absolutely adorable …
"Well, I'm flattered that you wanted to share this moment with me" You said with a smile
"To tell you the truth, _________ … I wanted to share this moment with you because … I really like you" He said
"R-really?" You asked, blushing
"D-da …" He mumbled, going dark red
That look didn't suit him at all. Mind you, it did look rather cute … especially the facial expression that came with it
"I … r-really like you, da?" He said, fidgeting
He walked closer to you and gave you a little kiss on the cheek, making the both of you go bright red
"I … like you too" You said
"Really? YAY!" He cheered
He grabbed you and hoisted you over his shoulder. You squealed loudly
"Ivan! Put me down!" You said, unable to stop yourself from laughing
"You will Become One with Russia now, da?" He said, with that cute laugh of his
"Wh-what?! No! Put me down!" You said, laughing
The both of you laughed as he carried you inside, still asking him to put you down. Who knew a tiny thing like a plant could make such a big difference?
