Request - Norway x Reader : Cosmos - Part 9

"3, 2, 1 ... PULL!"
You, Denmark, Iceland and Finland tugged on the rope with all your might in order to get the trapped Swede free whilst Hilde watched, rather irritated that you were so close to the archway to Asgard and she was also angry at the fact that you and the others had insisted on helping Sweden out of the swamp before going through
"Again!" Finland cried
"3, 2, 1 ... PULL!"
Everyone tugged with all their might and Sweden budged
"It's working!" Denmark said, smiling
"Focus, idiot!" Iceland said, trying to suppress the urge to strangle the Dane like Norway would have done
"Everyone get ready to pull again!" You said
Several tugs later, Sweden was free and the group rejoiced
"I'm so glad you're ok!" Finland said, hugging Sweden tightly
The Swede looked a little embarrassed, but he excepted the hug all the same. Iceland let out a sigh of relief and Denmark announced that he would be buying beers for everyone later to celebrate
"That was a close one, Sve!" Iceland said
"Yeah, don't scare us like that" Denmark said
"You sure had us worried" Finland said
"Sorry ..." Sweden muttered
"Well ... the important thing is that he's ok" You said, sighing
The others nodded in agreement and sat on the grass by the archway, just to rest for a moment. You joined them, giving a small sigh
"Wow, Sweden. How much do you weigh?" You joked
"Yeah, who knew he weighed that much?" Denmark chuckled
Iceland gave an irritated sigh and Finland gave a light chuckle. Sweden gave a small quiet chuckle, which was a rare but nice thing to hear
"Ok, Jumbo cost us a lot of time! Let's get moving" Hilde said
"What is your problem? Why are you in such a rush to get us through that archway?" You asked
To be honest, you had been suspicious of Hilde's true intentions since you and the others arrived in Jötunheimr. It seemed way too coincidental that England would just happen to mess up on getting you to Asgard when his friend was in trouble. You were sure that he would have made sure the spell was flawless. You began to wonder if the spell had been sabotaged somehow or someone tampered with the portal itself
"Hilde, everyone's down in the dumps and exhausted" You said, your voice shaking a little from anger
"So what?" Hilde growled
"So I'm suggesting we rest for a little bit!" You said, a little ticked off
"We're ok, [Name]" Denmark said
"Yeah. We'll be alright" Finland said with a cute smile
They didn't look it. They had gone pale from the cold damp swamp and, to be honest, they looked miserable. Though their faces didn't show fatigue and sadness, their eyes certainly did
"We'll be fine, [Name]" Iceland said, standing up
You looked at Sweden and he have a small nod. You sighed, and looked at the archway for a moment
"Alright, let's go" You mumbled
"That's the spirit!" Hilde said, sounding happier
The others got up. You took note of how difficult it was for Sweden to get up, even though he was the toughest one of the group. He was tired ... they all were
"Let's go!" Denmark said, full of enthusiasm
"Yeah!" Finland cheered
Iceland gave a small sigh and Sweden just stared blankly as usual. You nodded
"Just through this archway is Asgard ... you are almost at the end of your journey" Hilde said
"Wow, won't this be a cool tale to tell your kids, huh?" Denmark said with a smile
"Yes, yes. Now let's get through this damned arch already. I want to help Norway and go home" Iceland grumbled
And with that, you and the others entered the archway ... unaware of what awaited you on the other side

Meanwhile, in Midgard (Our World)

Romania came into England's house and sighed. He had just returned from taking Lady Gaia back home to where she belonged
"Wow, I'm going to miss her. She was nice" Romania said, taking a seat
He noticed that England was in the corner of the room, smoking a pipe and he looked very concerned
"What's wrong?" Romania asked
"Something isn't right ... the others should have been back a long time ago. It's been almost three days since they left" England replied
"Yeah ... maybe they got lost?" Romania said
"No, it's not that simple. If that portal took them to Asgard like it is supposed to, then they should have been back already" England said, sounding more concerned
"Maybe you just miscalculated" Romania said, fidgeting
"Would I have slipped up when this situation is very important?! A man's life is at stake!" England snapped
"Then ... someone must have tampered with the portal" Romania said
"Yes, my thoughts exactly. But who would do that?" England asked
Romania shrugged and began playing with his hair. Silence descended upon the two men as the duo began to think about this strange occurrence. Something was amiss ... and England didn't like it. Not one bit
"Could one of the Nordics or [Name] have tampered with it unintentionally?" Romania asked
"No, that's impossible. Only someone who is a magic user like you and I could tamper with it. And they would have to cast a pretty powerful spell to hijack my magic like this" England replied
"I thought something was wrong when they stepped through the portal with that fairy. What did you say her name was?" Romania asked
"The fairy? Oh, her name is Hilde. She told me she knows the Nine Realms really well" England replied
Romania shot to his feet, his eyes filled with fear and worry
"We haven't got much time!" He said
"What's wrong?" England asked
"England ... we need to get to [Name] and the others as soon as possible. How long does it take you make a portal?" Romania asked, sounding worried and anxious
"About five to ten minutes, why?" England asked
"A great evil is about to emerge ... I can feel it" Romania said
"What do you mean?" England asked, standing up
"Didn't you feel that disturbance earlier? You know ... when they went through the portal" Romania said
England thought for a moment. He did get a strange feeling that something bad was going to happen when the group set off. In fact, he had been getting that feeling since you went to Alfheimr for the Heart Gem
"Yes, I did" He said, a little wary
"I have a feeling I know where the hijacker would want them to go" Romania said
"So do I. But if that's true, then we must hurry" England said
