I wondered into the courtroom, sweating like sinner in church. It had been a month since I was arrested and I was still baffled by the fact that I was being falsely accused ... and above all things, I'm a COUNTRY! How could they arrest me for Murder? Furthermore, I had no idea that the Woman-who-shall-remain-nameless had a lover, so how could I kill someone I had never met? I hadn't slept a wink, and my friends kept raising hell at every opportunity. They all protested my arrest all in different ways:

Lukas froze everyone's cell but mine, making everyone else but me in the prison catch a cold or end up in the infirmary
Tino publicly announced that he was not going to act as Santa if I was convicted ... and vowed to refrain from being Santa until I was released, which made children all over the world cry
Mathias drunk himself stupid and caused bar fights in every club, pub or tavern in the country, which is no small feat, let me tell you
Emil set up protest rallies and, to my surprise, gathered up a lot of support for me, which touched my heart ... I had no idea how much people cared
Even [Name], my little girl helped in a way ... she was taken to Radio Stations where she told everyone what kind of person I was ... to be honest, I had never felt happier to hear my daughter's voice

I was snapped out of my thoughts when my lawyer, Phoenix Wright, and his assistant, Maya Fey, entered the room and took their places
"What do you think my chances are?" I asked, worried
"Good, if you have a good alibi!" Maya said
I looked at the floor, my chest hurting and I was going weak at the knees. I didn't know how much my body and mind could take. I felt like I was going to collapse. Soon though, Court was in session ... and I was called as a witness. I looked at my friends and [Name], who were watching and giving me nervous smiles
"So, where were you on the day of the attack?"
I looked up at Phoenix and he gave me a nod. I looked down and began to fidget
"I was at a meeting with the other Nordics, because I am Sweden, sir" I said
"YEAH! You tell 'em, Susan!" Mathias cheered, thrusting his fist in the air
"It's Su-SAN, you twit!" Lukas hissed, hitting him on the back of the head
"Silence in the court!" The judge shouted
Silence fell, and the questions kept coming. Where I was, what time I was there ... you know, things like that. But then, things got nasty when the prosecutor got up and began to question my answers. It hurt, but I tried my best to remain composed ... and think carefully about what to say next
"Now, pre-tell ... what is your relationship with that boy?" The prosecutor asked, pointing at Tino
Everyone gasped and looked at him as he looked around, confused. I knew this was a question the others were hoping wouldn't come up, because they were all hiding their faces or shaking their heads. Apart from Tino, who gave me a smile and nodded, which gave me courage
"Isn't that Finland? Do you not know him?" The prosecutor asked
"Ja ... that is Tino. And he ... is my wife" I replied
[Name] cheered and Tino's cheeks went dark red with embarrassment. Mathias was slamming his head against the wall and Lukas just stared at me. Some of them had clearly expected me to say that, but Tino, forever oblivious to how much I love him, just fidgeted
"Is this true, Mr Väinämöinen?" the Prosecutor asked
"OBJECTION!This enquiry has no relevance to the case!" Phoenix said, slamming his hands on the desk
"On the contrary, I think this provides a motive" The prosecutor said
"A motive?" I asked, confused
"Indeed. I believe that [Name]'s mother had an interest for your friend here, and you got angry" He said
"I ... what?!" I mumbled confused
"So you decided to hurt her, by stabbing her lover sixteen times" He said
"N-now wait a minute-"
"ADMIT IT! You love her still, don't you?" He asked
I thought about it carefully. I guess ... there was one last lingering thread of my feelings for her, but the instant he asked me that question, my heart had frozen over
"Not anymore ..." I said in a flat tone
I noticed people shudder as my face became as expressionless as it once was. When the Prosecutor saw that this wasn't giving him the result he wanted, he sat down and Phoenix stood up and began to ask me questions. But his were less stressful to answer and I was allowed to step down after a lengthy procedure
"Ok, next witness?" The judge asked as I returned to my seat
"I call (Woman-who-shall-not-be-named) to the stand!" The prosecutor said
I sank in my chair as I saw her go up there. She looked at me with a strange look. But then, I realised that Tino was very close me. Was it him she was looking at?
